What to expect with us
When do you meet together?
We gather together Sunday mornings at 10:00. Join us for a cup of coffee or tea, enjoy a treat, and find out more about who God is.
How should I dress?
Coulee Life is a “come as you are” church. Casual wear is welcome. The pastor is usually in jeans and has his coffee in hand.
What’s available for my kids?
We love helping our kids learn about God! All of our volunteers have current background checks. Our nursery is safe, clean and staffed by a loving group of people that will provide the exceptional care for your little ones. For elementary age kids, we have designed creative and engaging learning experiences. Check-in is required for all children up through 5th grade. Nursery (birth-2 yrs) and pre-school (3 yrs-4K) have childcare provided during the entire worship gathering. Our elementary kids (K-5) will be with parents/guardians through the first part of the worship gathering and then go to Coulee Life Kids part way through. If you are checking in a child, you will see a check-in station at the Welcome Center in the lobby and a kids ministry guide will assist you. Parents can pick up their kids in their room after the gathering by presenting their name tag. If your child would like to remain with you during the worship gathering that is okay. We want what is best for you and your family.
Where do I park?
There is parking on both north and south sides of our facility. Parking is also available next door at Sand Lake Elementary. We encourage our serving teams to park further away so that new comers can find a parking spot with ease.
Where do I enter?
There are two sets of doors that are open to our lobby on Sunday mornings, doors “B” near the main parking area, and door “H” on the south side of the building. These enter directly into our lobby area where you can access our coffee area and our sanctuary.
What type of music will there be?
We see musical worship as the door that helps us enter into God’s presence. Our worship band seeks to lead us through relevant sounds, as we attempt to connect with the emerging generations. We mix in some of the older hymns on occasion, but our worship band will feel vibrant and current.
Will I be asked to give money?
Offerings are given as an act of worship for participants who call Coulee Life their home. We do teach and believe in biblical stewardship. For new guests, your presence is a gift to us. We want you to be blessed without feeling any obligation to give.
How long does the worship gathering last?
Our Sunday worship gatherings will last about an hour. We encourage people to come early, get some coffee, settle in, and connect with others. We also enjoy spending a few minutes after the gathering connecting. Connecting and belonging are important at Coulee Life.
