Why Membership?
Membership is a relationship between individuals and the church. It demonstrates a commitment to pray, support, and serve together for the advancement of God’s mission, not our own. Church membership is not about having your name on a list, but identity as a part of the whole. As followers of Jesus Christ we are called to being active disciples (followers), putting our faith in action in a local group of believers.
As a congregation in The Wesleyan Church we draw our membership requirements and commitments from the organizational documents of our denomination. Each year members will reaffirm their membership within the church.
